Trea Brinson

Pastor

Trea and his bride, Cayla, have three beautiful girls, Rilynne, Raegan and Reece. Trea and Cayla met in Raleigh-Durham while Trea was attending SEBTS and serving as a local College and Singles Pastor. The Lord called Trea to plant Restoration Church while he was serving as a Collegiate Sports Chaplain at Valdosta State University where he started the VSU Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Prior to his role with VSU FCA, Trea also served college students at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. The Brinson family moved back to North Carolina in 2012 to become a Church Planting Resident with the Summit Network.

Chad Akins

Pastor of Discipleship

Chad and his wife, Olivia, have a beautiful little girl, Abhygail. They met at Valdosta State University where they were both part of VSU FCA and Crosspointe Church. Chad received his master’s degree in Higher Education Leadership. During his time at VSU, Chad grew in his relationship with the Lord and he decided to step away from coaching collegiate basketball to follow the Lord’s call to ministry. He has a huge heart to see people fall deeply in love with Jesus and to become disciple-making disciples.
