Teachers and preachers, are you interested in growing in your presentation and communication of God’s Word? Here’s a great opportunity for seminary students and others who want to grow in their delivery of Bible lessons and sermons.
We have the wonderful privilege of being close in proximity to one of the nation’s best seminaries, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS). Over the past few years we have developed a great partnership with SEBTS that enables students at Restoration to take courses for seminary credit, and for other church members to audit valuable training classes. The faculty and staff of this great institution have loved on us, welcomed us, and greeted us with open arms. Now, we are taking our partnership with SEBTS another step.
Next Fall we will offer a class specifically for those within our congregation who want to take a course for credit or simply to audit it. Dr. Jim Shaddix, who is a member of our church, will be teaching Bible Exposition II, which is a course designed to help individuals with the delivery and communication of sermons and other Bible study lessons. Particular attention will be given to delivering Christ-centered, expository messages. This is a great way for our members to learn from one of the best in this field. If you would like more information on this course, please contact Dr. Jim Shaddix at firstname.lastname@example.org. Meeting times and locations TBA.
