For the City: Save the Date

For the City: Save the Date

Here at Restoration Church we love the Town of Wake Forest and our desire is to see Wake Forest transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. As a church that is committed to loving God, loving people, and loving our city and world, we strive to pursue this end by serving the city in many different ways. To accomplish this, we have designated specific opportunities for people to serve during what we call “For the City” days/weekends. The purpose of these “For the City” days/weekends is to bring glory to God by demonstrating the gospel in a tangible way to our city and to empower our covenant members to live their lives on mission for God.

for the city

On July 28-30 we will be serving our city in a variety of ways. (Mark your calendars now, more details will be coming soon!)  It is our hope during this time to intentionally build lasting relationships through serving others. Although we set aside this weekend to specifically serve our city and build relationships with people, we do understand that we must be active in ongoing service as well. At Restoration Church we do much of this through our small group ministry. We encourage every group and every member to live on mission or as we like to say, “Every believer is on mission!”

We invite you to come along side of us and serve our city with us. This is a fantastic way to fellowship with other believers, serve our community, and make new friends. This is more than performing random tasks or doing numerous projects, but rather this is about engaging people, advancing the gospel, and bringing God glory with our lives.

(Check out our last For the City event to see all of the great ways Restoration Church has served Wake Forest in the past!)

Please be in prayerful consideration of how you would like to be involved and stay tuned for more information about the specific ways we will be serving Wake Forest!

Thank you for storing your treasures in heaven and we’ll see you on July 28-30!
